Ninth Week

September 1, 2014 (Monday)---Day 33

                This day we went to the capitol to forwards letters to the different offices there just like ordinary days. Time after time different employees would order us to do something. 


September 3, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 34           

                I arrive at exactly 1 o’clock PM at the office and everyone seems to be very busy. I really don’t have any plan to go to the office because I thought that there was nothing to do due to the fiesta in Albay. Suddenly Ate Jessica texted us that we need to finished the structural organization of the office because the evaluator may visit anytime.
                A couple of minutes Mira already arrived and we started finishing the design of the chart that would be printed. We told Ate Jessica that we need Oslo paper for printing the design. She told Madam Lily that we need other stuffs to complete the design. When we say that we need to buy some materials for the decorations she gave us money and told us to buy what we need. She also asked us to buy her art paper and play moneys; maybe her niece/nephew needs it.
                Mira and I went to Legazpi to buy the decorations of the organizational structure. We spent almost an hour in choosing the decorations and colours of the papers that would resemble nicely to each other. After buying all the needed stuffs, we went to the supermarket to buy some foods because it was tiring and we feel hungry. We bought junk foods and chocolates that we can ate in the jeepney. We also deducted the transportation fee to Ma’am Lily’s money.
                When we arrive at the office Ma’am Lily was not there and we gave the change to Sir Calixto, Ma’am Lily’s brother, we also told him that we deducted our transportation fee.
                Ate Jessica printed the letters to be cut out, and handed it to me. We cut out the green cartolina like the shape of the Oslo paper because we will print the name and designations of the employees on it. Ate Jessica already printed the first page in the green paper but she suddenly noticed that there was something wrong. Instead of Department it was typed as Development. The first page was wasted and do not have enough green paper. Mira made some editing in the design to maximize the space and just consume 3 pages. I already cut out the letters while Mira was still editing in some design. It was successfully printed using just 3 pages. We enjoyed cutting out the letters that we didn’t noticed that it was already 5 o’clock and it’s time to go home. We organize the cut out letters and clean up our table.

September 4, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 35

                As soon as I arrive at the office I immediately started cutting out the letters for the organizational structure. Ma’am Amy helped me in cutting out the letters. We printed other materials that would be posted in the chart. After cutting out all the letters we pasted it in the orange catolina and others in the pink one. As soon as it dries up we cut it out again and pasted it again in a violet cartolina for its final design. Right after lunch, we proceeded in doing the organizational chart. We have already finished the design of the title and name of the office, this time it would be the names of the employees that were going to work on. We printed it on a green colored paper. We cut it out and pasted it in a pink cartolina. We spent almost the whole day in making the chart and trying it to finish but time wasn’t enough.




September 5, 2014 (Friday)---Day 36

                I continue cutting out the letters and others stuffs in decorating the organizational chart. When everything is already prepared and ready for decorations, we started pasting the office name in the bulletin board in front of the office. We find it difficult to arrange the position of the words in the board and sometimes it was not straight to look at, there are a lot of curves. As time passes by we find it less difficult and easy somehow.
                After lunch break, Sir Ely noticed some words that are spelled incorrectly and advices us also to make the names of the employees bigger. Some of the things that had been already pasted were removed for enhancement. The names of the employees become bigger and the colour of the font changed. After printing the revisions, we immediately cut it out and pasted some in blue coloured paper and others in green. After cutting, we started again posting their names in the chart. But we didn’t finish it because Ma’am Amy told us to just continue it on Monday.




REFLECTION: When it comes to improving and beautification of the office Ma’am Lily wouldn’t mind spending her own money to fund the materials needed. When anyone in the office needs any help the employees are very willing to help even though you don’t ask them for help. It was tiring doing the structural organization but it is worth tiring for when we were hearing the positive respond of the employees to what we did.
