Week Fifteen: Last Days

October 13-15, 2014

                Just like the normal days we always went to the capitol to forward different letters and travel orders of the employees. They also ask us to photocopy papers and assist some of the people who ask questions about different hiring agencies. We did also answer the phone whenever it rings. They also ask us to encode some letters, invitations and travel orders. Some of the employees ask us to help them in finding some documents needed by the customers or visitors.

                One time, when we went to the capitol, we found a beautiful spot to take some pictures. We also did take some pictures at the office. 

                Before we finally leave at the office we ask Ma’am Lily and Ma’am Amy to have a photo with us.

                The experience at the PESO office was really memorable.

REFLECTION:

                My whole stay at the PESO office was a good experience and an unforgettable one. It shows me how to deal with different people. Though some of them have attitudes that were difficult to deal with, we need to be more patience because they were higher than us. It requires tons of patience to deal with them. Showing much calmness was worth it for the reason that until the end, I have built a good relationship with them.

                When it comes to workloads it was extremely fine to have lots of work. Though it was tiring at some point at least I can show them that I can accomplish the tasks that were assigned to me. Whenever the employees were not asking us to do something, I feel very sleepy and bore at the office. We also did our thesis during our free time. Time management during our OJT was very important, though there were a lot of workloads sometimes, we still find time to do our thesis.

Week Fourteen

October 8, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 50

                When I arrived at the office I saw Ate Jessica and Ate Jinky printing the certificate of appearance. When they saw me they seemed to be delighted and ask me to cut the certificate into two. As soon as I placed my bag on our table I immediately proceeded to them to help them in cutting the certificate. Minutes later Ma’am Ruby arrived at the office and told us to go to the People’s Hall and asked Ma’am Lily about the documents to be printed. We bumped in to Ma’am Legazpi’s husband and asked us were where going. We told him that we are going to the capitol. He was happy to hear that we are heading to the capitol. He told us to buy him newspaper at the side of the capitol.  Mira and I went to the capitol and asked Ma’am Lily. We also brought the newspaper of Ma’am Legazpi’s husband.

                We gave the newspaper to Ma’am Legazpi’s husband and told Ma’am Ruby that the documents to be printed are the 14^th National Peso Congress.

                Ma’am Legazpi asked us to go to the People’s Hall to get our snacks. At first we were shy to go inside but Ma’am Ruby saw us and told us to enter. We told her what Ma’am Legazpi told us. Ma’am Ruby asked the caterer to give some snack. After getting the snack we immediately proceeded outside and went to Peso office. We handed the snacks to Ma’am Legazpi and she gave us our share.

                When it was lunch time Ma’am Legazpi told us to join them at the People’s Hall to have a free lunch. We went to the capitol and have their lunch. After lunch we proceeded to the office immediately.

                After some rest we went to the SPA office to forward some documents. We also look for some files of the SPES who wasn’t included at the payroll. Ma’am Amy told us to go to the governor’s office and at the SPA to give the invitation about the G2. She also told us to inform them that all the employees that would attend would wear a Filipino Attire.

                After a day of loaded work, we went to Ate Jessica’s house to celebrate the 1^st birthday of her baby.  

October 9, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 51

                When we arrive at the office Ma’am Amy told us to go to the astrodome to help the other employees in assisting the participants.  As soon as we enter at the astrodome Ma’am Lily saw us and asked to go to her direction. They were having problem with the projector and asked us to help them. We tried our best to make the view from the projector clearer but it doesn’t work because they were using the ordinary projector. We told them to use the smaller screen where the projector fits. They acknowledge our opinion and us e the smaller screen.

               

 When the screen was already okay, Ma’am Ruby asked Mira and me to assist in giving the attendance form to the participants while Leah is assigned in the projector. Everyone sitting at the table should sign at the attendance form. After finishing the attendance form Mira and me went back to the office while Leah was still at the astrodome.

                We were comfortably sitting at our table when Ma’am Syrill asked us to go to the astrodome again to give the receipts to Ma’am Lily but she told us that she will not be the one to give receipts to the participants. He told us to look for Ma’am Arispe. We went back to the office and told Ma’am Syrill what Ma’am Lily has told us. Ma’am Syrill told us to give the paper’s regarding her leave to Ma’am Siapno but Ma’am Siapno told us to just give it back to Ma’am Syrill because the TLDC office was already closed. 

                Ma’am Arispe asked us to buy her some medicine at the drugstore and Ma’am Amy told us to Xerox her documents. It took so long at the drugstore because she didn’t told us if what ml to brought. We tried to call Ate Jinky to asked her she did not picking up her phone. We tried many times but she still not picking up. Mira and I decided to buy the least ml. We gave the medicine to Ma’am Arispe and told her that we had a hard time choosing the appropriate ml and we gave also the documents to Ma’am Amy.

                Leah texted us to go to the astrodome to substitute her in assisting the presentation because she needs to go to Legaspi and she told us that it won’t take long. Mira and I went to the astrodome and start assisting their presentation. Leah took an hour before coming back and when she came back we handed over the job to her because it was so boring that you could have been fall asleep. We went back to the office and leave Leah at the astrodome again.

                When we arrive at the office the only person at the office was Sir Calixto’s son. He was printing his documents at the office. After a while Ma’am Siapno asked us to photocopy some documents and forward it to the capitol. After that she asked us to go to the astrodome to give the documents to Ma’am Syrill and asked if what the documents to search in the internet.  

October 10, 2014 (Friday)---Day 52

                When I arrived at the office no one was around. I received a text message to Mira that she is at the capitol at the Art Gallery waiting for me. She told me to come over immediately.

                I immediately proceeded to the Art Gallery and found Mira sitting near the painting. She told me that we need to come at the People’s Hall because Ma’am Lily was waiting to us.

                As soon as we enter the People’s Hall we saw Ma’am Lily very busy entertaining some of the guests. Ma’am Lily saw us approaching near to her and told us to photocopy the documents. There were a lot of papers to be photocopied. She also told us to ask for an official receipt. We went to the nearest photocopy centre but she doesn’t have an OR. We headed to next photocopy centre and luckily shae has an OR. We handed the papers to her and told the pages to be reproduced and if how many copies. When it was nearly done we started in computing the amount to be paid and found out the 500 pesos wasn’t enough so I told Mira to go to Ma’am Lily and asked for some money because the amount she handed to us was not enough. After we proceeded to the People’s Hall and give the documents to Ma’am Lily. We also had our snack at the People’s Hall. After eating Ma’am Siapno, told Mira, Ate Jinky, Ate Jessica and me to go back to the office to prepare the certificate of appearance.

                We immediately proceeded to the office and do what have told to us. Ate Jinky and Ate Jessica were printing the certificates while Mira and I were cutting it. Sir Ely and Ma’am Ruby also arrived and help us in cutting the certificates. When we finished it, Sir Ely brings it to the People’s Hall to Ma’am Lily.

                Ma’am Amy asked us to deliver some documents to the HR department. We also went to the capitol to tell the one of the employees to store the screen used in a safer place.

                It was already past 3 and we have something to attend at the BU. We have a hard time in seeking permission to ma’am Lily because she was very busy until all her visitors are already gone. We told her that we need to leave early because there were a meeting at the school which we need to attend. She immediately allows us to leave.  

Week Thirteen

September 29, 2014 (Monday)---Day 46

              During the morning we didn't have anything to do. The employees were not also busy because the manager was out of town for some seminars.

               At the afternoon we asked permission to Ma'am Amy that we would not be around at the afternoon because we have to attend the General Assembly in Bicol University. We presented to her our excuse letter. 

September 30, 2014 (Tuesday)---Day 47

                Ma’am Amy asked me to go to the capitol at the governor’s office to get the documents that the DOLE faxed that were addressed to Ma’am Lily’s name. We also went to the Provincial Administrator’s office to submit some documents (travel order) of the employees of PESO.

                Late in the afternoon, one of the representatives of a certain company drops by at the office. Ma’am Lily was not at the office at that time so Ma’am Amy entertains the employer. She was looking for applicants that would qualify at their company. Ma’am Amy told her that the best way for her to personally meet the applicants is to conduct a job hiring. She agreed to Ma’am Amy’s suggestion but while having their conversation she noticed the bunch of resume at the table. She told Ma’am Amy if she could copy those one and Ma’am Amy handed it to her. It was almost past 5 but the employer is still copying the profile of the applicants. It took her for about 20 minutes after finishing.

October 1, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 48

                Ma’am Legaspi asked us to go to the ACEMPC to buy some vitamins that Ma’am Siapno requested. She also told us that the products were from Gold Life, a networking company who sells quality products. We gave the paper that Ma’am Legaspi handed to us which contain the names of the products to be purchased. When we go back to the office we gave the products to Ma’am Siapno.

                After a while Ate Jinky asked us to go to the PPDO Office to let them receive a copy of some documents that PCEDO produced.

October 2, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 49

                Ma’am Arispe asked me to load her number. I was the only one at the office besides Ma’am Lily and Ma’am Amy, so no one come with me. When I arrived at the office Sir Ely asked me to open the computer because he will be doing his report.

                Ma’am Arispe asked me again to photocopy her documents and at that time Mira was already at the office so I asked her to come with me.

                A couple of minutes after lunch Sir Ely asked Mira to go to the DOLE and get a rim of forms of the SRS Form 1. When we arrived at the DOLE Office we told the employee at the first table that Sir Ely asked to get a rim of SRS Form 1. She told us sit and wait for a while. We were only requesting for 1 rim but the employee seems to be generous and gave us 2 rims of forms. At first we refuse but he insisted to just get the two.

                When we arrived at the office Mira told Sir Ely that the employee had given us two rims. Ma’am Amy asked us also to go to the AMDGO office (Albay Millennium Development and Goal Office) to give them a receive copy of some documents. Ma’am Lily also asked to go to the Budget Office to give them also a receive copy of their proposal regarding their seminar to be conducted in the evacuation centre. When Ma’am Syrill heard that were going to the capitol she also told us to drop by at the Personnel Office to follow up their DTR. We went first to the Budget Office and immediately proceeded to the Personnel Office. When we were about to leave at the capitol the rain starts pouring down and we have only one umbrella so we decided to let the rain stops first because the documents will soak of water. We waited at the capitol until the rain stops pouring down.  

Week Twelve

September 23, 2014 (Tuesday)---Day 43

                Ma’am Siapno get some water at the dispenser but suddenly some water were splash on the floor. She asked me clean the mop the wet floors. After cleaning the splash of water, Sir Ely arrived at the office and asked me to look for some documents at Ma’am Lily’s table. There were a lot of documents and I do not know what exactly I am looking for. Right at the moment Sir Ely told me that it was a photocopy of a check. There were no documents such as cheque.

                Minutes after Ma’am Ruby asked us to go to the capitol in the Accounting Office to follow up the payroll of PCEDO. Ma’am Siapno also asked us to go to the HR specifically to Ma’am Nel Tejada to get the records of her daughter. We also went to the PA to submit some travel order of the employees in the PCEDO. Ate Jinky asked us to look for some documents of the SPES that were having a problem regarding their payroll.

September 24, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 44

                Ma’am Siapno went to the god’s office and told me that when Ma’am Syrill arrived I should tell her that she is in the god’s office. Time passes by and Ma’am Syrill arrived at the office and I told her what Ma’am Gudy told me.

                Ma’am Amy asked me about some information about the Spes applicant and asked also about bayantel. We were having difficulties in terms of internet connection and the landline. She asked if someone from bayantel went to the office to fix the problem. I told her that nobody comes. She called again the bayantel and told them to fix it immediately.

                At the afternoon we attended the LCC Leadership and Career Congress at the Albay Astrodome. We asked permission to the employees in the office and they told us that we can attend. There were a lot of students especially the fourth year students. The event was fun and the speakers are interesting. It finished at around six o’clock.   

     

September 25, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 45

                Ma’am Amy was having a hard time about the Spes applicants. She asked me to help her and askes me some questions.

                When Ma’am Lily arrived at the office she was looking for Ma’am Legaspi, I checked at the other office but a’am Legaspi was not there. Minutes later she asked me to open her email account and told me to check her new emails. There were a lot of emails. She told me to look for the invitation and print if. There was a lot of invitation that causes me hard time to look for the right one. When I successfully found it I immediately printed it. After printing the document she told me took look for Ma’am Arispe and luckily Ma’am Arispe was at the TLDC office.  

REFLECTION:  The Leadership and Career Congress that we have attended let us realized how to handle future situations. The speakers were also very interesting though some are not but still I enjoy listening to some speakers. 

Eleventh Week

September 15, 2014 (Monday)---Day 40

                Ma’am Amy asked me to go to the Provincial Administration Office due get the documents that were signed by the Provincial Administrator. I was alone due to Mira and Lea was not yet at the office at that time. The employee at the PA’s office told me to photocopy the documents and give them the Xerox copy because it is only one copy and they should have another copy of it also. So, I went back to the office and told Madam that we need to photocopy it and submit to the PA’s office.

                After photocopying I went back to the PA”s office and give them the copy of the documents.  

September 18, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 41

                Ma’am Lily noticed the hole near the air conditioner. She asked Sir Calixto to call the janitor to fix the hole. The janitor arrived immediately and started to fix the hole. It took him almost half an hour to fix it.

                We went to the Human Resource office to get the Personal Data Sheet (PDS) that Ma’am Lily requested. They only give us one copy and told us that it is the only copy they have so we should photocopy it and return to them the original copy. We went back to the office and told Ma’am Lily that we need to photocopy it and return to the HR the original form.

                Ma’am Amy asked us to help her in encoding the Registered Job Applicants. There were a bunch of applicants. We didn’t finish what we were doing and told Ma’am Amy that we will continue it tomorrow.

September 19, 2014 (Friday)---Day 42

                We just continue in encoding the Registered Job Applicants the whole day. Ma’am Amy told me that it would be sent to the PESO office at Camarines Sur. Ate Jessica was very busy also encoding the Registered Job Applicants.

Tenth Week

September 9, 2014 (Tuesday)---Day 37

                We talked about our thesis. We decide what template to be used. We discussed all the possibilities that would happen when working on our system, the problems that we could have encountered.

                Ma’am Ruby asked us to go to the ACEMPC to get the key to Kuya Benz. But Kuya Benz already gave it to Ma’am Arispe. We told Ma’am Ruby that it was already given to Ma’am Arispe and she told us to look for Ma’am Arispe at nearby office but she had left already. So Ma’am Ruby told Ma’am Lily that Ma’am Arispe left already so, Ma’am Lily gave her key to Ma’am Ruby.

                At Around 3 o’clock Ate Jinky handed us money and told us to buy some snacks. At first we refuse to it but she told us that it was Ma’am Amy’s treat. We went outside to buy snacks but we can’t find the request of Ma’am Amy. We went to the other side of the market and luckily found one.

September 10, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 38

                Upon arriving at the office, I noticed some people at the Budiao Hall setting up the table and chairs, there were also caterers.

                Hours later there were group of people arriving at the same time and went to the hall because there were a meeting regarding cooperatives and Ma’am Lily was one of the participants..

                We were very happy because there was an event, meaning we could have a free lunch, but Ma’am Lily told us that we were not included in meals because she was not the one to organize the catering service.

                Before lunch time, the gold life visit in the office and Ma’am Lily entertain for the meantime. She told them that they will be the speakers after lunch time. They waited at the office until they could have delivered their speeches.

                At around 4:00 o’clock Ma’am Lily told us to go to the ACEMPC to get the certificate of participation that Kuya Benz made. Kuya Benz told us that it was not yet done, but it will only take a minute so we decided to wait for it. After a minute, he gave to us the certificate but told us that he couldn’t understand the handwriting of no. 23 and 26. Before leaving at the ACEMPC Kuya Benz handed us a paper to be signed by Ma’am Lily because he was sure that we will come back to their office due to the certificate of those two people.

                When we arrive at the office I told Mira to go to Ma’am Lily because I need to go to the restroom. When I met Mira at the corridor she had already verified the names of the person who had written in the papers, but she didn’t have the signature of Ma’am Lily in the documents that Kuya Benz handed to us. We waited for her outside the hall but she did not come out so I decided to enter the hall and let her signed the documents.

                We went again to the ACEMPC and gave the documents to Kuya Benz and waited for the certificate of participation that is being printed. After a few minutes Kuya Benz gave to us the certificate including the excess certificates that don’t have name yet.

                We were outside the hall to give the papers to Ma’am Lily but we can’t see her inside and we look for her but we couldn’t find her. Luckily upon waiting outside the hall one of the participants went out and asked us who were we looking for and we told her if Ma’am Lily was inside. She told us that Ma’am Lily went out and she asked if what we need. We told her about the documents and she told us that she will be the one to give to Ma’am Lily.  

September 11, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 39

                We went to the IAS Office (Internal Audit Service) to submit the Travel Ticket Order of Sir Calixto. But the employee at the IAS told us the filled form was not updated so she gave us the new form and told us to submit those forms after filling up. We gave them to Ma’am Ruby and we told her what the employee from IAS has told us.

                We organized the office because there will be some visitor’s from other offices. And they will be going to check the facilities at the office. During the busy cleaning at the office we heard a sudden phone call and Ma’am Lily told me to answer the phone. The person at the next line was looking for Ma’am Lily to update the communication letter. I gave the phone to Ma’am Lily and continue to clean the office. Before leaving the office we check the appliances to ensure that they were really unplug. 

Ninth Week

September 1, 2014 (Monday)---Day 33

                This day we went to the capitol to forwards letters to the different offices there just like ordinary days. Time after time different employees would order us to do something. 

September 3, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 34           

                I arrive at exactly 1 o’clock PM at the office and everyone seems to be very busy. I really don’t have any plan to go to the office because I thought that there was nothing to do due to the fiesta in Albay. Suddenly Ate Jessica texted us that we need to finished the structural organization of the office because the evaluator may visit anytime.

                A couple of minutes Mira already arrived and we started finishing the design of the chart that would be printed. We told Ate Jessica that we need Oslo paper for printing the design. She told Madam Lily that we need other stuffs to complete the design. When we say that we need to buy some materials for the decorations she gave us money and told us to buy what we need. She also asked us to buy her art paper and play moneys; maybe her niece/nephew needs it.

                Mira and I went to Legazpi to buy the decorations of the organizational structure. We spent almost an hour in choosing the decorations and colours of the papers that would resemble nicely to each other. After buying all the needed stuffs, we went to the supermarket to buy some foods because it was tiring and we feel hungry. We bought junk foods and chocolates that we can ate in the jeepney. We also deducted the transportation fee to Ma’am Lily’s money.

                When we arrive at the office Ma’am Lily was not there and we gave the change to Sir Calixto, Ma’am Lily’s brother, we also told him that we deducted our transportation fee.

                Ate Jessica printed the letters to be cut out, and handed it to me. We cut out the green cartolina like the shape of the Oslo paper because we will print the name and designations of the employees on it. Ate Jessica already printed the first page in the green paper but she suddenly noticed that there was something wrong. Instead of Department it was typed as Development. The first page was wasted and do not have enough green paper. Mira made some editing in the design to maximize the space and just consume 3 pages. I already cut out the letters while Mira was still editing in some design. It was successfully printed using just 3 pages. We enjoyed cutting out the letters that we didn’t noticed that it was already 5 o’clock and it’s time to go home. We organize the cut out letters and clean up our table.

September 4, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 35

                As soon as I arrive at the office I immediately started cutting out the letters for the organizational structure. Ma’am Amy helped me in cutting out the letters. We printed other materials that would be posted in the chart. After cutting out all the letters we pasted it in the orange catolina and others in the pink one. As soon as it dries up we cut it out again and pasted it again in a violet cartolina for its final design. Right after lunch, we proceeded in doing the organizational chart. We have already finished the design of the title and name of the office, this time it would be the names of the employees that were going to work on. We printed it on a green colored paper. We cut it out and pasted it in a pink cartolina. We spent almost the whole day in making the chart and trying it to finish but time wasn’t enough.

September 5, 2014 (Friday)---Day 36

                I continue cutting out the letters and others stuffs in decorating the organizational chart. When everything is already prepared and ready for decorations, we started pasting the office name in the bulletin board in front of the office. We find it difficult to arrange the position of the words in the board and sometimes it was not straight to look at, there are a lot of curves. As time passes by we find it less difficult and easy somehow.

                After lunch break, Sir Ely noticed some words that are spelled incorrectly and advices us also to make the names of the employees bigger. Some of the things that had been already pasted were removed for enhancement. The names of the employees become bigger and the colour of the font changed. After printing the revisions, we immediately cut it out and pasted some in blue coloured paper and others in green. After cutting, we started again posting their names in the chart. But we didn’t finish it because Ma’am Amy told us to just continue it on Monday.

REFLECTION: When it comes to improving and beautification of the office Ma’am Lily wouldn’t mind spending her own money to fund the materials needed. When anyone in the office needs any help the employees are very willing to help even though you don’t ask them for help. It was tiring doing the structural organization but it is worth tiring for when we were hearing the positive respond of the employees to what we did.     

Eighth Week

August 27, 2014 (Wednesday)

August 28, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 32

                The employees were very busy talking about lunch time. They decided to cook at the office and each one would contribute. Ma’am Legaspi told us that the menu for today would be vegetables and fish. She told us that rather buying our foods outside, it would be better for us eat with them and contribute some money. We concur to her opinion, but Sir Jun told us that we do not need to worry about the contribution because he will be the one to pay for us. We were very thankful to Sir Jun.

                Ma’am Ruby told us to go to the capitol at the Budget Office to deliver their payroll. After we deliver the payroll Ma’am Siapno told us to prepare the rice.

                After hours of preparations, the foods are already set. Before digging in Ma’am Legaspi led the prayer. And it’s finally time to eat. When we were eating we laughed and laughed due to Sir Jun’s joke.

                After eating there were a lot of dishes and the three of us volunteered to do it. After washing the dishes, we heard that Ma’am Legaspi is planning to cook again for merienda. But Sir Jun, who was the cooked, was not at the office.  

August 29, 2014 (Friday)---Day 32

                We went to the capitol at the Budget Office to give them some documents that Ma’am Lily asked us to deliver to them.

                Ate Jinky asked to look for some files and documents that the SPES needs. But some of the SPES not yet submitted their documents so Ate Jinky gave their numbers to us and told us to inform those SPES who are lacking some documents to complete their requirements for them to be included at the payroll of DOLE.  

Seventh Week

August 18, 2014 (Monday)---Day 28

                As I arrive at the office Ma’am Lily and all the employees were gathered there. I also saw Leah and Mira at the corner and I asked them what’s going on. They told me that Ma’am Lily bought some foods because she just arrived from Dakak. I asked them if the foods were from Dakak also but they told me that it was only bought somewhere in Albay. Ma’am Lily treats all the employees at the office and told a lot of stories and her experience in Dakak. We were all laughing and having fun while eating. After eating, the three of washed the dishes.    

       

August 19, 2014 (Tuesday)---Day 29

                Ma’am Amy made the travel order of Ma’am Sanma Arispe and Sir Jun because they will going in Oas for being the representative of PCEDO in one of the seminars there. After finishing printing, Ma’am Amy went to us and asked us to give the travel order at the Provincial Administration office. We were about to leave but Ma’am Amy double check first the content of the travel order and noticed that there was something wrong. She consults Ma’am Arispe for verification and found out that there is really wrong. Ma’am Arispe just erased it and placed it the correct data because she said that before they leave they should have filed it.

                Mira and I went to the PA office. After giving the documents, the personnel check the document and told us that it is ok. We leave the office right away. We were about to cross the street when we heard someone calling from behind, it was the personnel in the PA office. He told us that if there something to be erased there should be an initial under the correction made.

                We returned the documents to Ma’am Amy and told her what the personnel have told us. She immediately signed under the correction Ma’am Arispe made. We right away proceeded again to the PA and gave to them the documents.

August 20, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 30

                When I arrived at the office the Budiao Hall already have a lot people who will be participating at COOPERATION CONVENTION MEETING.

                Ate Jessica asked us to print the certification of the participants. Mira and I print the certification and then cut them. The certification was just simple, Ate Jessica told us to print two copies in one bond paper and then just cut it after. We made almost 50 copies.

 

August 22, 2014 (Friday)---Day 31

                The job hiring of Camella Homes will be conducted today. Upon arriving at the office Ma’am Amy asked me to help in organizing the tables and chairs in the Budiao Hall. But when we enter in the Budiao Hall, we were surprised that the floors were soggy. We called the janitor to help us cleaning the hall. We were busy cleaning the hall when suddenly the employer’s from Camella Homes arrived. Ma’am Lily let them first proceed to the office while we were still cleaning the hall. It took almost 30 minutes in drying the floors. When everything is already okay, Camella Homes immediately started their job hiring. The job hiring went well and the employer’s were very glad that there were a lot of applicants.
   
REFLECTION: Whenever there are a meeting that is funded by the PESO office all the employees including us OJT's have a free lunch and snack. We noticed that just a few people attended at the meeting although in the invitation there were a lot that should be attending. Ma'am Lily felt a little disappointing due to the absence of some managers.

Sixth Week

August 11, 2014 (Monday)---Day 23

                Ma’am Lily asked the three of us if who would like to go with her in the People’s Hall where the seminar would be held. No one was answering Ma’am Lily’s question. She asked if who among us brought a laptop. The three of us has a laptop but Leah didn’t brought her charger while my laptop’s battery is not functioning well so we decided that Mira would be the one to joined Ma’am Lily at the People’s Hall. 

                 Ate Jinky, Leah and I went to the PPDO office at the capitol due to Ma’am Lily’s requests. We get some of Ma’am Lily’s belongings that she left last Friday when they had their meeting while Mira go with Ma’am Lily at the People’s Hall in the capitol.

                When we arrive at the office Ma’am Lily and Mira already left. Ma’am Amy told us that Ma’am Lily told her to bring some of her documents at the People’s Hall. Leah and I went to the capitol again at the People’s Hall to deliver the documents of Ma’am Lily.

August 12, 2014 (Tuesday)---Day 24

                A couple of minutes after I arrived, Ma’am Lily asked me to open her laptop and connect it to the wifi. She asked me to visit the site of gold life. She told me to open some pages within the website, where she would do some transactions.

                She also asked Ate Jinky to go to the capitol particularly in the ACEMPC office. Ate Jinky doesn’t want to go alone so she asked me to accompany her. When we were at the stairs we noticed Mira at the back, following us. She also wanted to come because she was alone there due to the absence of Leah. Ate Jinky told Mira should be at the office because Ma’am Lily might need some assistance in her transactions in the site. But Mira really wanted to come. Ate Jessica arrived and Ate Jinky let the two of us joined her.

                We spent almost an hour in the ACEMPC because they were busy entertaining the visitors in their office.

August 13, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 25

                When I arrived at the office, I saw Sir Calixto at the side of the office; she told me that the office was not yet opened. We waited for Ma’am Gudy to open the office because she has a duplicate key. Minutes later we saw Ma’am Gudy approaching near to us with Ma’am Amy. I asked for the key to Ma’am Gudy and she gave it to me and I opened the office.

                As soon as the office opened, Ma’am Amy shared what happened during her leave.

August 14, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 26

                One of the SPES went to the office to claim her salary for the summer job but I am the only one at the office that time. I told them that I do not know the process for the payroll so I told them to wait for Ma’am Amy because she will be at the office before 8 o’clock.

                They waited at the office for Ma’am Amy. Minutes later Ma’am Lily arrived at the office and asked them if what they need. They told them that they were following up their payroll. Ma’am Lily told them that she is not also familiar with the process and just told them to wait for Ma’am Amy. They patiently waited for Ma’am Amy but it was already 9 o’clock but Ma’am Amy was not still at the office.

                Ma’am Lily told me to let the SPE signed in one of the documents in Ma’am Amy’s table and gave them the payroll stab. She told me that it is what she usually saw whenever there were a SPES who are following up their payroll. I followed all the instruction of Ma’am Lily and told the SPES to go to the capitol and present the stab to get their money. When the SPES leave at the office Ma’am Lily told me that she felt pity to the students who were waiting for almost an hour.

                A couple of minutes later Ma’am Amy arrived at the office and felt sorry because she was late. I told her what happened. She told me that the process that Ma’am Lily told was correct. But I also told her that I have given the entire stab that was stapled. She laughed and told me that one piece will do.     

August 15, 2014 (Friday)---Day 27

                Sir Ely asked us to cover the folder with graphing paper. He told us to align the lines of the graphing papers. He gave to us the materials needed, the graphing paper, folder, ruler, cutter and paste. At first we find it difficult to exactly measure the graphing paper that would fit to the size of the folder. After several times of trying we slowly getting it though sometimes the lines were not align. It took us almost an hour before we finished cutting the graphing paper. We immediately started pasting it in the folder. We ask Sir Ely the way to paste the paper on the folder. He told us two way of applying paste, putting just a little amount of paste in the corner of the paper and the other one is scattering the paste all over the paper. We told him that we should try both ways to compare whose better between the two. After we finished it we presented it to Sir Ely and let him choose without knowing the way on how we applied the paste. He eventually chooses the one which is just in the corner.

                Ma’am Lily asked us to go to the governor’s office to get the communication letter. 

Fifth Week

August 4, 2014 (Monday)---Day 18

                I noticed that there were many people in the Budiao Hall and they’re very noisy. I asked Ate Jessica if what’s going on at the hall. She told me that Watson is conducting their training at the hall and it would be until Friday.

                 Ma’am Lily asked me to open the computer. I noticed that the reserved battery was not functioning. I asked Ma’am Lily if I could directly plug it to the socket and she told me to so. But I also told her that when there is a brownout it will automatically close. She told Sir Ely to report it to the capitol and told them to change it as soon as possible.

August 5, 2014 (Tuesday)---Day 19

                Mira and I arrived early in the office. Ma’am Lily and Sir Calixto were already at the office. Minutes after Ma’am Lily asked me to find the travel order form and print it. I asked Mira to help me find the file because I can’t find. Ma’am Lily noticed that we can’t find the file and told us that all the forms are just in the desktop. After a couple of minutes we found it. As what Ma’am Lily said we printed it but the printer is malfunctioning so the result is becomes messy and untidy, we repeat again and again until the outcome becomes neat. We handed it to Ma’am Lily.

                When Ma’am Ruby arrives at the office she told us to go to the capitol and gave their DTR to the HR department.

               

August 6, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 20

                Ma’am Lily asked us to edit the Employment Termination Report. She just told us to alter some information in the report.

                During the afternoon Ate Jinky asked us to helped them look for the list of the SPES who are already completed their requirements for the payroll in the DOLE.

August 7, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 21

                We went to the capitol to submit some documents in the accounting department.

                When we disembark at the office Leah told me that Ma’am Siapno was looking for me. I asked her why, and told me that Ma’am Siapno will give the key to me because she will not be at the office tomorrow. I was shocked because once you are handling the key you should be the one to first to arrive at the office.

                Ma’am Siapno enter the office and I was very nervous because I don’t want to bring the key but she told me that one of should hold the key. She handed it to me and leaves. I asked Mira and Leah that one of them should hold the key because they live near the office than me. But they refuse because they were not sure if they can wake up early and arrive at the office before 7. At first I was upset because I am not also sure if I can make it but since Ma’am Siapno trusted me I shouldn't disappoint her.

August 8, 2014 (Friday)---Day 22

                I arrive at the office before 7 o’clock. The janitor immediately cleaned the office and the hall because there will be a meeting at the hall. The organizers and caterers also arrived and they stated setting up the venue of the meeting.

                Ma’am Lily asked me to open the computer. A couple of minutes later she told me to let the participants signed in the attendance sheet. At first I was seating at the front desk but there were not yet many participants so I went back to the office again. Ma’am Lily was looking for me and told to go to the hall because there were many participants arriving. I asked Mira to accompany me in the hall. She helped me in the attendance.

                We were very glad because the breakfast, lunch and snack were free due to the meeting of the PESO managers.

REFLECTION: Everyone at the office usually order us to forward letters at the capitol though we found it tiring we gladly accept their requests because if we stay at the office the whole time we would feel very sleepy. Some of the employees don’t care if we have already task to do they still order us to do another things.

Fourth Week

July 28, 2014 (Monday)---Day 15

                The morning hours was just consumed in a non-stop conversation by the employees chatting about different stuff. Time flew by easily and it’s already lunch time.

                A couple of hours after lunch Ate Jinky ask us to check the budget we type last week because there were some changes made by Ma’am Amy. Mira and I divide the tasks to do. I was the first to check the changes. While doing the revisions of the budget I noticed that almost all the amounts of their budget were enlarged. Before I finished what I’m typing Ma’am Lily asked me to look for Ma’am Arispe but she wasn’t at her office so I told Ma’am Lily that Ma’am Arispe was not around. I continue typing the budget and minutes later I already finished. As soon as I finished my work I called Mira for her to accomplish her work also. After we finished our work we give it to Ate Jinky. 

July 30, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 16

          

                Ma’am Amy told me to return the chairs in the hall to the TLDC office. They were very happy because the job hiring yesterday went well, there were a lot of applicants who applied.

                When Ma’am Lily arrived she commanded me to open her laptop and ask me to check her compliance seminar power point. She told me to check the spelling and organization of her presentation.

                Ma’am Ruby requested us to go to the capitol in the Human Resource office to follow up the monetization of Ma’am Arispe.

July 31, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 17

             When I arrived at the office Ma’am Amy was already at her table. I greeted her upon. I went to our table and seated there.

             Ma’am Amy asked me different stuffs about my studies and minutes after she started talking about her struggles in life before having a regular and better work. She also encouraged me to pursue my studies no matter what problems or hindrances arouse. She is good in giving words of wisdom and advices.

          The moment Ma’am Lily arrived she requested me to open the computer and her email account but I told her that I do not know the password. She gave to me the password of her account and told me to check her new emailed documents.

REFLECTION:  Ma'am Amy was good in giving advice's and words of wisdom. She encourges us to pursue our dreams no matter what. I really felt touched when she advice's in some matters and it really feels great to hear encouraging words.
