Second Week: Coping with the new environment

July 7, 2014 (Monday)---Day 4

The employees were very busy doing their works. Ma’am Siapno, one of the employees that are assigned in the TLDC office, requested us to photocopy her documents. At that time we do not still know where the photocopier was. So, we just look for it outside the compound. Right away we found it. Sir Ely asked us to organized some of the files in the office. There were a lot of papers in the office and it looks like a mess.

July 8, 2014 (Tuesday)---Day 5

Ma’am Siapno asked us to photocopy her ID and Ma’am Lily heard it, and she asked us also to photocopy her check since we’re just going to the photocopier. After a few minutes we went back to the office. We just sat at our table the whole afternoon because there was nothing to do and they were not also asking us to do something.

July 9, 2014 (Wednesday)---Day 6

Ma’am Lily asked us to do the PowerPoint presentation regarding the Parliamentary Procedures because she needs it by tomorrow. She gave the folder to Mira. We decided to divide the papers to finish early. Every one of us was very busy encoding the chapter that was distributed to us.
Upon finishing the given task to each other we combined the presentation and Mira added some design and organized the font style and size in all sides to make it uniform.

July 10, 2014 (Thursday)---Day 7

We went to the ACEMPC office at the capitol and asked Kuya Benz, one of the employees in the ACEMPC; to scan the documents that Ma’am Lily hand over to us. He told us that his scanner is just for short documents only. I just told her to scan it, though some of the data might be removed and I will just inform Ma’am Lily.
When I handed the documents to Ma’am Lily I told her that some of the data were removed because the scanner was just for short papers. She told us that it is all right as long as the body of the letter was not damaged.

July 11, 2014 (Friday)---Day 8

When I arrived at the office Ma’am Amy was already arranging the Budiao Hall. As soon as I placed my bag at our table, I immediately proceeded to the hall. I helped Ma’am Amy arranging the chairs. She told me that Watson would conduct a job hiring at the hall.
Ma’am Siapno told me to get some of the chairs and table at the office and bring it to the hall. She also told me to remove the chairs that are not presentable and placed it on the side and hide it because it was mucky.

At around 9:00 o’clock in the morning the representative of Watson arrived and directly proceeded to the hall to start the job hiring.  The job hiring was successful since there are a lot of applicants. The representative of Watson was very happy and leaves the office with a great smile.

Reflection: Not all the times they were busy doing their own office works on the contrary there are also times that they are also lacking in workloads. Sometimes even though there are a lot of works to be done however when everyone is helping each other it is possible to finish it faster and accomplish it on time. Each time a job hiring became a success all the employees at the PESO also feels great and enormous amount of happiness.
